White Compact monitor loudspeaker system, Pair
 
Features a 5 1/4" direct radiating polypropylene woofer coupled with a 1" ferro-cooled soft-dome tweeter. This combination produces exceptional bass response, more power than any in its class, and a smooth, extended top end capable of reproducing the highest frequencies. Long-term power handling is rated at 160 watts per EIA standard RS-426A. System protection is accomplished by employing EV's exclusive PRO circuit which provides independent protection for the woofer and tweeter. In the event th S-40 is accidentally overdriven, the PRO circuit activates, limiting the power being delivered to the components, and automatically resets when the system returns to safe level. The enclosure features threaded inserts in combination with optional mounting hardware, providing a flexible mounting system for any application form microphone & keyboard stands to wall mounts & flat surface placement
