Privacy Statement:

We do not share your information. Jacks is hosted on dedicated servers utilizing private switches and networks for maximum security and privacy for our customers.

In order to best serve you, internet access, a valid email address and telephone number are required for prompt processing of your order.

Free Shipping Policy*

Free Shipping (shipping included) $LOW Minimum. Some oversize or weight items may require discounted shipping charges. Drop any product into the cart, enter shipping zip code, shipping cost is calculated for you.  Jacks no hidden policies at work. Free or discounted oversize-weight shipping is available in the continental US only. Returns for refund are for product purchase price only. Please note: Purchase orders requiring terms may not apply. *Free or Reduced Shipping indicates shipping included in the total cost of your item and is deducted from returns for refund only.

International Orders: Canadian and UK orders are accepted through Jacks online checkout with PayPal confirmed shipping address. Inquire at time of order for shipping cost. All other international orders, inquire by phone, 1-989-743-5225 or email international@jacksmusicstore.com . Payment by IAT (International ACH Transfer) is fast and economical. Jacks has been a trusted international music retailer for over 30 years.

We can ship most orders to APO addresses.

General Policies
Each Jacks order is reviewed by an order specialist. Any issues with the order or corrections will be communicated as soon as possible by our order specialists. Expedited 1 and 2 day delivery service is available and quoted upon request. Orders to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii may require additional shipping.

Estimated delivery date is determined by Time in Transit as published by the shipper, such as UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex and cannot be considered a guarantee.

All orders automatically begin processing 15 minutes after the "Submit" button is clicked and cannot be cancelled or edited after that time. Refused, unavailable for signature or returns without RA will be subject to additional costs.

Orders shipping to an address different than the billing and not registered with the credit card company may be delayed for further review. Orders shipping to an unconfirmed Paypal address may be delayed for further review.

Additional handling/shipping charges may be charged to orders shipped 'signature required'. This determination will be at our discretion based on factors including but not limited to: value of items being shipped, shipping address different than billing address, shipping address unconfirmed through Paypal. You will be notified of any additional handling/shipping charges.

Use the comment area on the order form for any special requests or specifying size and color when applicable.

We accept Visa and MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, certified check, bank money order, IAT and wire transfers. Personal and business checks are accepted but will delay your order 7-10 days pending clearance from the bank.

All merchandise is new, factory fresh unless otherwise noted.

30 Day 100% Plus Customer Satisfaction - Return for exchange or refund:

  • All returns require a Return Authorization number prior to return.
  • Returns for Refund are for purchase price less shipping costs. Certain items must be unopened and unused for return eligibility. Other exceptions may apply, see below.
  • Free Shipping on items or carts indicate shipping included in the total price and are intended for items which are purchased and kept by the buyer. Items returned for refund will have 'free shipping' deducted from refund.
  • Sales on many items, such as: harmonicas, some microphones, most cables and snakes, strings, drum heads, lighting and special orders can not be returned for refund. Check before purchasing.
  • Parts are non returnable for refund or exchange.

  • Print music, Videotapes, Sample Libraries, Soundcards, Software and any copyrighted media cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law.
  • If the item is returnable for refund and is in factory fresh condition, you have 30 days from the date of shipment. Extended return up to 60 days, inquire. If the item is in less than factory fresh condition, as described below, such as scratch and dent, obvious wear, extended use, misusse, missing accessories and manuals, but is still accepted for return, a handling and restocking fee of up to 25% or $25 may be applied.
  • Factory Fresh Condition: Returns must include all original packaging and accessories and be in factory fresh condition, as received with no signs of wear or abuse. Stickers and protective films must still be in place. All manuals, literature and warranty papers must be returned with no marks or dog ears. Returns will be inspected and determined by our sole discretion whether or not they are acceptable for return and credit. Your purchase could be returned to you without a refund if your return is incomplete or shows excessive wear and/or abuse. Remember, our return policy is so you can inspect and try out our products.

  • Items no longer available from manufacturer may be excluded from returns and/or returns for refund. Check first before purchasing that 'hard to find' item.
  • Guitars must be reported right away as defective or unsuitable and may be excluded from the 30 day trial period.
  • Shipping is customer responsibility. Shipping costs will be deducted from your refund on orders with free or reduced shipping charges.
  • Stringed/Orchestra instruments must be reported as defected or unsuitable within 10 days of shipping date and may be excluded from the 30 day return policy.
  • Refunds are issued in the same manner of payment.
  • No refunds after 30 days from shipment date. Extended exchange period up to 45 days for holiday gifts, please inquire when purchasing.
  • "Children's Musical" and "Musical Gifts"  categories are excluded from our normal return policies. Please remember when purchasing from these categories that you are purchasing toys and trinket like items that are not intended to fully function as musical instruments.
  • The issuance of an RA# does not guarantee final disposition, as all returns are subject to inspection, evaluation and policies set forth.

Back Orders

  • Backordered items will ship automatically with no additional processing or shipping charge. Items backordered beyond 30 days require pre approval.

Defective returns:

  • New merchandise is warranted by Jacks for up to 30 days, some exceptions apply.
  • Defective merchandise will be exchanged for the exact same item only, if available, or handled through the manufacturers warranty and policy.
  • Defective merchandise must be reported as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days from shipment date.
  • All Shipping costs are customer responsibility, however, in most cases, when your return is determined to be due to defective merchandise and for exchange for the exact same model, shipping costs are be reimbursed or labels are provided. Merchandise that is "used" returned for refund, even if defective, will incur restocking according to condition. Repair or replacement is according to manufacturers policy.
  • Manufactures guidelines on weather related shipping restrictions. Cold weather delivery. Shipping in the cold will not by itself cause damage to the guitar. Thermal shock will. Do not open the guitar up when it is cold. Damage is likely to occur from thermal shock and from water condensation on the guitars inside and out side surfaces. Allow the box to acclimate to room temperature. This can take up to 24 hours in extreme cold! Typical damage would be cracking of the wood, finish cracking, warping of the wood, protruding fret ends and effects on the playability of the neck. Hot weather delivery. The box must be protected from the sun and from enclosed areas exposed to the sun such as a car. Permanent damage is likely to result from exposure to high temperature such as cracking of the wood, loosening of glue joints and warping and effects on playability.

Damaged in Shipment:

  • Obvious or concealed damage in shipment must be reported immediately to the shipper and Jacks. Keep all packaging. Jacks will facilitate the processing of your damage claim. You may be required to file the claim with the shipper. An advance replacement service is available.

Warranty claims:

  • New merchandise is warranted by Jacks for 30 days, some exceptions apply.. After Jacks 30 day warranty period, warranty claims should be directed to the manufacturer or authorized repair facilities for repair or replacement according to specific manufacturers warranty. Jacks will facilitate your warranty claims. In some cases, compensation for warranty repairs or adjustments can be allowed for your convenience.

Refused Shipments:

  • Refused shipment or unavailable for signature at time of delivery that results in a return to sender or additional fees may be subject to additional shipping and labor charges. Please do not refuse delivery. Contact Jacks to obtain return authorization and instructions to avoid additional expense. Refused shipments are also considered an unauthorized return and subject to the return policy.

Abusive and rude behavior:
