The following policy is necessary to maintain our savings and service for our customers.

Shipping Policy
At Jacks, just drop any product into the cart, enter your zip code, no other information is necessary, and the shipping and handling cost is calculated for you based on actual shipping costs. Items marked "Free Shipping" (continental US only) include the cost of regular ground shipping in the purchase price. Some oversize items such as drums sets or large cases may require additional shipping. Jacks will notify you before processing your order.
International Orders: Canadian and UK orders accepted with PayPal confirmed shipping address. Additional shipping may be required. Other international orders, inquire by phone or email. Secure payment required. We are a most trusted international music retailer.
We can ship most orders to APO addresses.
No minimum order.
Each Jacks order is reviewed by an order specialist. Expedited delivery service is available and quoted upon request. Orders to Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii may require additional shipping.
Estimated delivery date is determined by UPS time in transit charts and cannot be considered a guarantee.
Orders cannot be cancelled or edited after processing for shipment. If your order has already been processed for shipment, your return will be subject to our return policy.
Use the comment area on the order form for any special requests or specifying size and color when applicable.

We accept Discover, Visa and MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, certified check, bank money order and wire transfers. Personal and business checks are accepted but will delay your order 7-10 days pending clearance from the bank.
All merchandise is new, factory fresh unless otherwise noted.
45 day Customer Satisfaction Return for exchange or refund:
- All returns must obtain a Return Authorization number prior to return.
- Sales on many items, such as: harmonicas, microphones, most cables and snakes, strings, drum heads, and special orders can not be returned for refund. Check before purchasing.
- Print music, Videotapes, Sample Libraries, Soundcards, Software and any copyrighted media cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law.
- If the item is returnable for refund and is in factory fresh condition, you have 45 days from the date of shipment to have your return shipped and provide us with tracking. You have 30 days to request your return. If the item is in less than factory fresh condition, as described below, such as scratch and dent, obvious wear, missing accessories and manuals, but is still accepted for return, a restocking fee of up to 25% will be applied.
- Factory Fresh Condition: Returns must include all original packaging and accessories and be in factory fresh condition, as received with no signs of wear or abuse. Stickers and protective films must still be in place. All manuals, literature and warranty papers must be returned with no marks or dog ears. Returns will be inspected and determined by our sole discretion whether or not they are acceptable for return and credit. Your purchase could be returned to you without a refund if your return is incomplete or shows excessive wear and/or abuse. Remember, our return policy is so you can inspect and try out our products.
- Shipping is customer responsibility. Actual shipping costs will be deducted from your refund on orders with free or reduced shipping charges.
- Refunds are issued in the same manner of payment.
- No refunds after 30 days from shipment date.
Defective returns:
- New merchandise is warranted by Jacks for 30 days.
- Defective merchandise will be exchanged for the exact same item only, if available, or handled through the manufacturers warranty and policy.
- Defective merchandise must be reported as soon as possible, but within 15 days from shipment date.
- Shipping in all cases is your responsibility, however, in nearly every case, when your return is due to defective merchandise for exchange for the exact same model, your shipping costs will be reimbursed.
- Jacks makes every effort to be fair with everyone and respond in good faith. Occasionally we have a customer that is disingenuous and seems to go out of their way to take advantage of honest merchants. Some of our policy has evolved to help protect us, and you, from unfair customers. The overwhelming majority, 99%+, of musicians out there are a joy to work with and we look forward to serving your musical needs and pledge to do our very best to make you happy every time.
Damaged in Shipment:
- Obvious or concealed damage in shipment must be reported immediately. Keep all packaging. Jacks will facilitate the damage claim and make the necessary arrangements with the shipper. Often an advance replacement can be sent to you right away.
Warranty claims:
- New merchandise is warranted by Jacks for 30 days. Additional Warranty is by the manufacturer. After Jacks 30 day warranty period, warranty claims should be directed directly to the manufacturer or authorized repair facilities for repair or replacement according to specific manufacturers warranty. Jacks will facilitate your warranty claims. In some cases, compensation for warranty repairs or adjustments can be allowed for your convenience.
Refused Shipments:
- A refused shipment or unavailable for signature at time of delivery that results in a return to sender will be subject to additional shipping and labor charges. Please do not refuse delivery. Contact Jacks to obtain return authorization and instructions to avoid additional expense. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the return policy.
